Warehouse Lead - Night Shift

This is a union-represented position covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Eligible employees receive health and welfare benefits through the Teamsters Managed Health Care Trust, which may include medical, prescription, dental, vision, and life insurance. Employees may be eligible for pension benefits through the Teamsters Pension Plan, with employer contributions made in accordance with the agreement. Employees with other qualifying medical coverage may have the option to participate in an annuity plan in lieu of health coverage. All wages, benefits, and eligibility requirements are governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and Trust Fund rules.

Details: Schedule: Sunday - Thursday Shift: 4:00PM - 12:30AM Payrate: $26.51 Position Summary: As the Warehouse Lead, you are responsible for maintaining safety, productivity, and efficiency within your assigned area during your shift. You will supervise employees, monitor workflow, and ensure that operations run smoothly. Your role is critical in upholding Core-Mark’s commitment to superior service and quality. Success in this position requires strong leadership, communication skills, attention to detail, dedication to safety, reliability, and a consistent drive for excellence.

Responsibilities: Communicate proactively with Warehouse Leadership and team members throughout the shift. Ensure adherence to standard policies and practices. Promote teamwork, morale, pride, and high-quality performance. Monitor supply levels at stations (e.g., totes, pallets) and coordinate replenishment as needed. Verify all equipment is in safe, working condition. Lead safety practices, manage incident reporting, and address issues promptly. Ensure proper training is provided; arrange additional training when needed. Oversee and maintain the security of assigned areas. Ensure all tasks comply with safety policies and operational standards. Report shifts progress and task completion to Warehouse Supervisor. Maintain accurate records of materials received and distributed. Complete required documentation for the assigned area. Step in as needed to ensure all job functions are completed each shift. Perform other related duties as assigned.
