Job Description
Shift: Night Shift Premium Amount: $1.50 Pay Rate: $19.25 Position Summary: • The Mezzanine Attendant is responsible for racking barrier and non-barrier tubing at optimum output and yield meeting or exceeding departmental goals and internal and external Customers’ expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform job functions in a safe manner at all times and to ensure the safety of coworkers. • Work as a team member to ensure goals and objectives of the department are reached. • Mezzanine Attendant must be able to support multiple racks as well as assigned racks when needed. • Communicate effectively to relieve Operators and Mezzanine attendants when there are changes to production orders and quality concerns. • Perform quality inspections and adhere to Standard Operating Conditions and Standard • Operating Procedures to ensure correct formulations are being produced and labeled properly on racks. • Must have the ability to trouble shoot winders (tape width, buildup, cores, and splices) and take appropriate corrective actions. • Must control quality by monitoring the racks for various visual quality defects such as edge creases, voids, gels, scratches and all other visual characteristics. • Must be able to ensure accurate label and weight of tubing. Properly identify material being produced on winders • Perform all duties as directed by supervisor Qualifications
