Business Manager, Marketing - Best Customer & Field Assessment, COBT Capital One Business Travel (COBT) , the booking travel platform for Small/Medium Enterprises, as part of the Premium Products and Experiences (PPX) team, is one of the fastest-growing parts of the business . The platform continues to see exponential growth and has an ambition to maintain tremendous growth over the next few years. The Business Manager, Marketing - Best Customer & Field Assessment role will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy and vision for COBT’s Best Customers - those with the highest spend potential to the platform – with a special focus on our field-managed customers. In addition to setting the holistic Best Customer strategy, you will act as the key liaison between marketing, COBT strategy, and the field front lines, partnering closely with the COBT Marketing / Offers and SBC Field teams to create field-specific offers based on direct feedback. A major focus of the position is owning the overall vision and strategy for this portfolio alongside owning the relationship with Field to drive usage and ensure marketing initiatives are landing effectively in the real world. Equally important is incorporating feedback from Field / Best customers to understand holistically how to grow the business. Key responsibilities include: Best Customer Strategy & Execution: Partnering with COBT and SBC Field teams to develop specialized offers and establish feedback loops. Relationship Management: Serving as the lead point of contact for the Field team to champion marketing goals and increase product usage. Technical Enablement: Collaborating with the Solutions Consultant team to refine product demos and lead training sessions. Event Strategy: Partnering with the Sponsorships team to develop and execute a high-impact conference and industry event strategy. Ultimately, this role is designed to ensure our "Best Customer" insights are translated into actionable field tactics that drive growth.

General Responsibilities: Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory demands Leadership: May manage and develop 1-2 analysts. Coaching and mentoring associates with a goal of developing and retaining talent at Capital One Product: Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products; lead product level modeling/analytics Marketing: Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products, and strategic intent for products distributed through the retail channel. Build targeted insights to inform the design and development of new customer experiences, as well as breakthrough technology and concepts designed to deliver on new go-to-market strategies Credit Risk: Drive step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior, creating risk models, and testing hypotheses using rigorous monitoring and analysis Execution: Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy.
