SVC Manager - Sales and Service

This Sales and Services Manager will directly manage all supervisory and all other staff and crew to productively handle work load. Responsible for hiring of all supervisory, office and clerical employees, dock, and drivers. On-going processing of claims prevention and training. Approves scheduling of, direction of, and preparing for monthly dock and driver meetings. Directly accountable for daily monitoring of production, load average, and the overall service and efficiency of all shifts.

Staffing to goal to meet volume of work. Make sales calls and manage sales team Provide direct leadership to all location staff Manage daily operations and insure maximum service center efficiency Focus on load plans from origin terminals monitoring cause and effect. Conduct Safety and Claims meetings with all staff and verify attendance Work continually to develop and improve service center staff Communicating goals, issues, and company news to service center staff Achieving and maintain goals set by the Company and Regional Vice President Monitor results of each direct report and provide feedback and coaching as needed Ensure a safe work environment Track and verify service center maintenance is completed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous Experience: Minimum of 2 years Dock Supervisor, Driver Supervisor, or S/C Operational experience required. 5+ years’ experience preferred. A working knowledge of AS/400, Windows, a thorough knowledge of internal systems such as the Dock Yard Management System and the BLU computer systems in each truck Working Days: Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday, Working Shift: Morning Work days/shifts may change based on scheduling and business needs and are provided as guidelines at the time of posting.
