Software Engineer (3-4 yrs-Service Now- ITOM/ITAM/HRSD required)

We are seeking a highly motivated ServiceNow Developer with hands-on experience in platform development and exposure to Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting scalable ServiceNow solutions across core platform modules and SPM applications. This role requires strong technical expertise in ServiceNow development, integrations, workflow automation, and a solid understanding of project, portfolio, resource, and demand management processes.    What you’ll do: ServiceNow Platform Development   Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions using platform best practices.  Build and customize applications using App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Workflows, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and ACLs.  Develop and support Service Catalog items, Record Producers, Knowledge workflows, and automated business processes.  Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and web services.  Perform platform upgrades, code reviews, defect resolution, and technical documentation.  Optimize application performance, maintain data integrity, and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards.  Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, design reviews, backlog grooming, and release management.    What you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.  2-4 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.  Experience with ITSM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB, SAM Pro, HAM Pro, or HRSD.  Knowledge of PMO processes, project governance, portfolio management, and financial planning.  Experience with Performance Analytics and ServiceNow Reporting.  Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.  Exposure to AI-powered ServiceNow capabilities including Predictive Intelligence and Generative AI features.  Strong experience with JavaScript , ServiceNow Scripting Framework, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Data Policies, ACLs  Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and Integration Hub.  Working knowledge of ServiceNow data model, CMDB concepts, and platform architecture.  Experience supporting at least one implementation or enhancement project involving ServiceNow SPM/PPM modules.  Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Good to have/ Opportunity to learn: Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)  Configure and enhance ServiceNow SPM modules including:   Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Agile Development , Resource Management, Investment Funding, Portfolio Planning, Strategic Planning. Support end-to-end demand intake, project lifecycle management, resource allocation, capacity planning, and portfolio governance processes.  Configure project templates, funding models, resource plans, portfolio dashboards, and performance analytics.  Develop reports and executive dashboards to provide visibility into portfolio health, strategic initiatives, resource utilization, and project delivery metrics.  Collaborate with PMOs, Portfolio Managers, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable SPM solutions.  Assist in SPM data migration, platform adoption initiatives, and continuous process improvements.   Certifications (Preferred) : ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)  ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)  ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM) (Preferred)  ITIL Foundation Certification  Don’t meet every single requirement?
