We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.  Skills and Competencies 4-8 years of compliance and anti-money laundering experience at a financial industry regulator or regulated financial services firm Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English and Spanish Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with regulators, senior management, and cross-functional stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions Strong understanding of financial services regulations, compliance frameworks, and risk management principles Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to adapt to changing business and regulatory environments while exercising sound judgment and independent decision-making Unquestionable personal ethics, integrity, inclusion, and trust with a commitment to fostering a culture of compliance Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use Education Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field Anti-Money Laundering certification preferred Responsibilities Lead and support the Moody’s Local Compliance Program across designated Latin American jurisdictions by providing regulatory guidance, managing compliance risks, and fostering a strong culture of compliance. Coordinate compliance-related initiatives across Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, and other designated jurisdictions while providing guidance on regulatory and compliance matters Serve as Compliance Officer and primary liaison with regulators, respond to regulatory inquiries, prepare internal staff for regulatory examinations, provide advice related to the resolution of regulatory and compliance issues Support the development, implementation, and management of anti-money laundering compliance frameworks and act as designated AML Compliance Officer as required Advise employees on Moody’s Local policies including securities trading, gifts, outside business interests, confidentiality, information barriers, recordkeeping, and regulatory disclosures Conduct compliance risk assessments, and identify potential risks and issues for resolution; identify emerging risks and issues as part of horizon risk analysis Support Compliance Surveillance and Investigations teams Prepare and deliver compliance training materials and presentations to promote awareness of regulatory requirements and compliance obligations Prepare presentations for and report to boards of directors, regulators, business leadership, and Compliance senior management on a periodic and ad hoc basis Build strong relationships and engage effectively with stakeholders globally regarding compliance matters About the Team Our Moody’s Local Compliance team supports
