Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Infrastructure Engineering & Virtualization Services Who we are looking for We are looking for an accomplished infrastructure engineering leader to manage the engineering, deployment, support, and optimization of enterprise platforms spanning Windows Server, VMware, Nutanix, and physical server environments. The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership with deep technical and operational expertise and can drive infrastructure modernization, virtualization, automation, reliability, security, and continuous improvement across data center and cloud environments. Why this role is important to us The team is responsible for the complete infrastructure lifecycle—from server build, rack-and-stack operations, platform engineering, and virtualization to migrations, capacity management, ongoing support, and service improvement. This role is critical to delivering reliable, secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure services that support business growth, operational resilience, and technology transformation. What you will be responsible for As an Assistant Vice President – Infrastructure Engineering & Virtualization Services, you will: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of infrastructure engineers while managing workload, priorities, performance, succession planning, and career development. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, engineering discipline, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning. Oversee engineering, administration, and support of enterprise Windows Server, VMware, Nutanix, and physical server environments, ensuring availability, performance, security, compliance, and capacity. Lead incident, problem, change, and service-improvement activities, acting as a senior escalation point for complex infrastructure issues. Manage end-to-end server deployment and lifecycle activities, including rack and stack, hardware installation, operating system builds, provisioning, decommissioning, VMware ESXi installation, and Nutanix cluster deployment. Ensure adherence to data center standards, hardware lifecycle controls, asset tracking, capacity planning, and technology refresh requirements. Lead infrastructure modernization, virtualization, migration, upgrade, and cloud-transformation initiatives across VMware, Nutanix, data center, Azure, and AWS environments. Drive standardization, infrastructure-as-code, automation, and self-service capabilities using PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, and related engineering tools. Develop and maintain operational procedures, engineering standards, runbooks, dashboards, metrics, and leadership reporting. Collaborate with business, architecture, security, operations, vendors, and other stakeholders to coordinate upgrades, refresh programs, migrations, risk remediation, and service delivery priorities.

Excellent communication, executive reporting, vendor management, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes. Strong risk, security, compliance, change-management, and operational-governance mindset in a large enterprise environment. Education & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
