Your Responsibilities
As a Technology Auditor for John Deere located in Moline, IL or Johnston, IA , you will execute audit engagements throughout the Global Enterprise. In addition, you will:
Work within an agile methodology for completing audit deliverables and tasks as part of a high performing team Provide inputs to audit engagement objectives and execute internal IT Audits and advisory reviews of delivery teams and products/applications/processes to opine on the design and effectiveness of internal controls Conduct interviews with control owners and prepare appropriate work paper documentation, conclusions, and recommendations Look beyond symptoms for the root cause Work with external auditors for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) related engagements, including SAP audits Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within Internal Audit by identifying gaps and implementing improvements related to the audit process

2+ years of experience in a recent information technology, SAP Basis/SAP Security, SAP GRC, internal/external IT audit, or internal control analyst role Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical capabilities using interviews, audit artifacts and data analysis Demonstrated experience and compatibility with a team-centric environment Ability to work independently and accomplish objectives in a timely manner within a fast-paced environment Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (A valid passport or the ability to obtain a valid passport)
What Makes You Standout
1+ year of practitioner experience with SAP Basis, SAP security role design, and/or SAP GRC configuration 1+ year of experience as a software/cloud engineer or developer Working knowledge of one or more of the following areas: AWS or Azure Cloud, software development, Infrastructure as Code, cyber security, operating systems, database administration, GitHub (CI/CD pipelines), CaaS, and network architecture Active professionally recognized certification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification Familiarity and application of internal control frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, etc. Practiced with testing for Sarbanes Oxley requirements which may include assessments of Service Organization Controls (SOC) reports, and general IT controls and security processes over financial reporting systems Demonstrated experience working as a team member on an agile delivery team which includes knowledge and practice of agile methodology and ceremonies Adaptability to work with global stakeholders from various time zones Education
Ideally you will have a degree in the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering or equivalent IT degree
