As a Software Asset Management Intern, you will support our IT Asset Management team in ensuring efficient software lifecycle management across the organization. You will gain hands-on experience in software compliance, license management, and IT operations while collaborating with various teams across Dynatrace. In this role, you will:
Support the management and maintenance of software asset inventories and license records. Assist in monitoring software usage and license compliance across the organization. Help analyze software entitlement data and identify optimization opportunities. Support software audits and compliance activities by collecting and validating relevant information. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, Procurement, Finance, and Security teams. Assist in documenting software asset management processes and best practices. Contribute to reporting and data analysis related to software assets and licensing. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Software Asset Management function. Gain practical experience with industry-leading Software Asset Management tools and processes.

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field .
Available to work at least 20 hours per week during the internship period.
Interest in IT operations, Software Asset Management (SAM), IT service management, or software governance .
Strong attention to detail and willingness to work with structured data, tickets, and process documentation.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
Interest in AI, automation, low-code tools, or chatbot-based workflows .
Clear written communication skills and the ability to document findings in a concise and structured manner.
Collaborative mindset with the confidence to take ownership of tasks and work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to contribute in a dynamic technology environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, data analysis, or IT management tools is a plus.
