Location/Division Specific Information: Haverhill, MA - The 'Ward Hill' facility is part of the Laboratory Chemicals Division. How Will You Make an Impact? As a Material Handler I, you will help ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped safely, accurately, and on time for both domestic and international customers A Day in the Life: Pick, stage, pack, and prepare customer orders for domestic and international shipment. Verify products, quantities, labels, and shipping documentation. Support daily warehouse and shipping operations by maintaining accurate inventory, organizing work areas, and collaborating with team members to meet customer and operational requirements.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

Preferred: 1-3 years of work experience Preferred: Prior experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field and prior experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers/forklifts) Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions with strong attention to detail. Basic math skills, including weighing and counting. Strong reliability and willingness to learn and support various process areas. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Ability to follow GMP, safety, quality, and documentation requirements. Ability to organize work and complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently. Physical Requirements / Work Environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move for extended periods, including standing for a full shift. Strong manual dexterity and hand coordination to handle small containers, closures, labels, materials, and tools with precision. Ability to perform repetitive hand motions, including sealing, labeling, crimping, weighing, and handling materials. Ability to work in warehouse, laboratory, and regulated manufacturing environments. Ability to work in areas with fluctuating temperatures, including hot and cold environments and cold rooms/freezers. Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods. PPE may include safety glasses, gloves, gowns, lab coats, hearing protection, and respirators, depending on the work area and assigned task. Ability to work safely with hazardous or toxic materials in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $22.00–$23.00/hour. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
