Job Description
This role leads enterprise FCRM Name Screening Operations across TD Bank entities and jurisdictions, setting strategy, governance, and operational standards for sanctions, PEP, adverse media, and related screening activities. Accountable for operational performance, regulatory readiness, risk management, and governance of AI and agentic capabilities within screening operations. Partners with senior stakeholders, regulators, Legal, audit, model governance, data, and control teams to drive disciplined execution, resolve issues, and advance operational maturity. Provides executive leadership to a diverse team, including talent development, performance management, resource planning, and delivery of consistent procedures, controls, and execution standards. Depth & Scope: Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required Owns screening operational activities for FCRM Name Screening Operations as a shared service for all TD Bank entities and jurisdictions Defines the strategy and vision for Name Screening Operations and governance of agentic capabilities deployed within their mandate, including for ongoing enhancements, issue resolutions, and foundational operations Owns and provides oversight for all Screening Operations projects, issues, and engagements ensuring to bring in other FCRM management and SMEs as needed Is data driven, helps stakeholders with insightful analysis on Name Screening and Adverse Media Screening Operations; works hand in hand with stakeholders including the Centralized Sanctions Groups, FCRM QA and Testing teams, internal/external auditors, Modeling & Analytics, FCRM Data, and Model Validation team members, etc. to lead operational changes and resolve impediments along the way Defines goals and milestones for their organization and conducts personnel duties for the department (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) Responsible for identification of and resolution of process and operational changes, based on feedback from upstream or downstream partners, audits, testing, regulatory or other FCRM and 1st line functions Continuously benchmarks with peers to define the maturity of TD's FCRM Screening Operations working with VP, FCRM, Global Screening Capabilities & Operations to implement and deploy new strategies and processes Responsible and Accountable for adherence to SLAs, SLOs, or other risk objectives as it relates to the operational queues under their mandate, including providing rationale and return to green plans for Queues out of SLA Accountable for ensuring that screening operations procedures and practices are in alignment to applicable FCRM policies and standards, including additional guidance or requirements from FCRM stakeholders, thereby preventing sanctions and other AML-related breaches Is the Subject Matter Expert for FCRM screening operations and controls across TDBG, including ensuring a standardized adjudication and
