Responsibilities
Play a key role in Data modeling, Analysis data model development / implementation, time series data analysis, data anomaly deduction, dynamic backend computation. Strong mathematical quantitative background, prefer previous experience in Finance domain. Implementation experience using REST API/Micro Services, backend development in Python/Java as per business requirements. Automate advanced data processing methodologies for stand-alone execution in controlled environments. Strong working knowledge of financial and statistical concepts. Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and deadlines while maintaining strict attention to details. Establish processes and procedures for managing and working with very large dataset, and for optimizing repetitive or computationally intensive tasks. Create end to end infrastructure for data gathering, data analysis, cleaning, signal generation & model implementation. A s a Lead Engineer (Backend Service Development) Must have skills: Work with the global team on designing, implementing, release engineering (deployment) and support the technical solution following the company standards and process. Work on developing highly scalable enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using Micro-Services . Hands on Cloud AWS or Azure using DBs like Oracle/SQL SERVER RDBMS, Databricks, Postgres DB experience. Strong design and programming skills in Python and Java. Vibe coding is a must. Expert understanding of Python Core concepts, including both functional and class-based design. Experience in writing effective and scalable Python code independently. Demonstrable experience with a range of common Python packages including NumPy, Pandas, matplotlib, SAlib, Scikit-learn . Independently address and resolve production issues and perform root cause analysis. Having experience in Distributed Agile and Lean practices , strong sense of accountability. A deep understanding of Python basics, multi-process architecture and the threading limitations of Python. Trouble shoot and fix any issue with the product/solution delivered timely Communicate with counterparties in different regions on the project plan and technical details Collaborate with other teams to continuously improve the solution and support model. Learn, research & adopt new technical solutions and/or approaches Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all required business knowledge. Follow Corporate policies and procedures. Good To Have Skills: MLOps and Quantitative Mathematical Model Development experience/implementation using multi-Asset data is plus. Experience in quantitative financial research and market data analysis familiarity with vendors pricing and fundamentals dataset. 4~5 year experience in buy-side or sell-side research is desirable.
