JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Lead – Java, AWS, Microservices & AI Engineering We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of cloud-native enterprise applications and platform services. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Microservices, REST APIs, and PostgreSQL , along with proven experience leading engineering teams, driving architecture decisions, and delivering scalable, resilient solutions. This role aligns closely with internal platform engineering leadership expectations for Java, AWS, and microservices-based systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead solution architecture, technical design, and implementation of enterprise-scale applications and platform services. Design and develop cloud-native microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Drive AWS-based application development utilizing modern cloud and DevOps practices. Establish engineering standards, code quality, observability, performance, and security best practices. Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and provide technical leadership across teams. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions. Champion AI-driven innovation by identifying and implementing Generative AI, AI-assisted development, and intelligent automation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership. Strong hands-on expertise in: Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud Microservices and Distributed Systems REST API Design and Development AWS Cloud Services PostgreSQL Database Design and Optimization Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines Experience building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native applications. AI & Modern Engineering Expectations Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
