Assessment Clinician Opportunity Thursday - Saturday, 7:00pm - 7:30am We are looking for Assessment Clinicians that: Believe in providing exceptional service to every patient, every interaction, every time. Dedicated to excellence, The Ridge is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, as a licensed, 110-bed hospital, providing psychiatric (mental health) and substance use disorder (drug and alcohol rehabilitation) services to children, adolescents and adults. Inpatient care is provided on a 24-hour basis, seven days a week. Outpatient and partial hospitalization services are provided on a five-day per week basis, days and evenings. Care is provided according to an established code of ethical conduct and strict adherence to patient rights. Website: The Ridge Behavioral Health System | Lexington, KY Position Summary: The Assessment Clinician provides telephonic, telehealth, and in-person risk assessments, including the history of presenting illness, suicide risks, family dynamics, and supporting psychosocial information. The Assessment Clinician has initial contact with referral sources and potential patients. The Assessment Clinician coordinates the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process, and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff. Follows and abides by company policies, procedures, and Corporate Compliance Program, as applicable to role and responsibilities. Job Duties Include: Performing initial clinical assessments to determine level of care. Coordination and disposition of all referral calls to appropriate level of care. Completion of all admission with psychiatrists and nursing staff. Completing pre-certification information and forwarding to appropriate agencies, in conjunction with Business Office and Utilization Review.

Qualifications

We train you to be the best, but there are a few minimum requirements for this position:

Education

Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Human Services field, with at least two years crisis experience; Registered Nurse; LCSW/LPCC/LMFT preferred.

Experience

Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population,
