Our Group: Joining the material group owning suppliers operational aspects to support our tools around the world.

Responsibilities: Responsible for Supplier’s operational management (Forecast & POs, FGIs, ECOs, obsolete, MRP actions, transitions, Repairs, service agreements, OTD, etc) Coordinates/drives purchasing activities with planning and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels.   Leads supplier’s quality activities in collaboration with manufacturing and engineering departments  Expedite escalations to ensures timely receipt of materials. Practice management without authority Leads problem resolution for material related accounting and receiving issues Provides input to management regarding suppliers and material status, action plans and address long term issues.

Education : Bachelor's Degree or higher education in relevant field preferred Engineering - Mandatory Experience : >6 Years in Purchasing   - Mandatory SAP MM expertise  - Mandatory Knowledge of working with OFFICE systems (especially Excel) Ability to work and deal with many information systems. Service- oriented, experienced with suppliers and internal customers Independent, team player with high negotiation skills High level English (writing, speaking and reading) Excellent presentation skills  Program management experience Commercial orientation Excellent problem-solving ability Great interpersonal skills Additional Information Time Type: Full time Employee Type: Assignee / Regular Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time Relocation Eligible: Yes Applied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
