About this role
A Snapshot of Your Day As Document controller, you will set up and maintain master document register (MDR), including creation of document attributes, hierarchies, planning and set up of an effective document management system. How You’ll Make an Impact You will have a significant role in electrical substation projects within offshore wind and energy transmission sector. Your involvement in the project is through the entire execution phase until the projects are handed over to Services (Operations)/Clients. In Siemens Energy, projects could last from one to several years and you will be the Document Controller for one or more projects depending on the complexity and volume of the projects. A project team usually consists of project managers, technical project managers, contract managers, QHSE managers, project commercial controllers, project planners, engineers etc. who are either located in Denmark or globally in different Siemens Energy entities. Manage flow of documentation in ACC, keep track of outcoming/incoming documents, and distribute the documentation to the related project team members. Ensure traceable history of all documents throughout the entire project lifecycle and set up, monitor and support the internal/external review process in ACC. Handling of documentation via Employers’ EDMS. Support and continuous improvement of communication (internal and external). Liaise with client document controllers and maintain regular contact in delivery of document workflows. Develops Project Document Management procedures and processes. Support with improvement initiatives and development plans. What You Bring · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in Document Management on large-scale construction projects. Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) process. Experience with ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud). Dalux, Aconex or other similar CDE platforms will be considered as an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio etc.). Customer oriented approach and motivated to work across different cultures in an international environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for co-working with colleagues and stakeholders with various professional backgrounds. Mastering the English language. Comfortable handling projects in parallel. High integrity and team spirit, proactively engaging with others and offering support when required.
