In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you’ll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep the threats at bay.   THE WORK  The scope of this effort encompasses tasks that provide USCYBERCOM with the sustained ability to fulfill its mission to direct, synchronize, and coordinate cyberspace planning and operations to defend and advance national interests in collaboration with domestic and international partners. These tasks include coordinating, synchronizing, deconflicting, and integrating operational planning efforts for full-spectrum cyberspace operations.  The anticipated award of this effort is Fall 2026.

As a Technical Writer Journeyman you will provide Cyberspace Operations Support Services (COSS) aligned with the following core disciplines: Cyberspace Operations, Cyberspace Planning, Cyberspace Training and Exercises, Strategy / Policy / Doctrine Development and Campaign, Assessments, Information Technology (IT) / Communications, Business Area Support and Project Management Engagement Activities. You will provide the customer with the sustained ability to fulfill its mission to direct, synchronize, and coordinate cyberspace planning and operations to defend and advance national interests in collaboration with domestic and international partners. These tasks include coordinating, synchronizing, deconflicting, and integrating operational planning efforts for full-spectrum cyberspace operations. Includes writing such technical documentation as operational specifications, bulletins, articles, and marketing publications. Acquires or verifies knowledge of subject by interviewing workers engaged in developing new products and services or in making improvements, observing performance of experiments and methods of production, referring to blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings and notes, trade and engineering journals, rewrites of articles, bulletins, manuals, or similar publications. Basic Qualifications 
 •    High School Diploma w/13 years of relevant experience is required OR Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications, Communications, English, Journalism, or related discipline from an accredited college or university w/10 years of relevant experience is required OR Master’s degree in Technical Communications, Communications, English, Journalism, or related discipline from an accredited college or university w/8 years of relevant experience is required.     •    Experience utilizing Document Control, Interpreting and Translating Technical Information into plain language prose, utilizing Cyber Authoring Tools,
