The Digital Group at Leidos currently has an opening for an ASI Manager / Network Monitoring Analyst. This position will provide Authorized Service Interruption (ASI) Management for DISA Europe/ USEUCOM AOR at Patch Barracks, Stuttgart Germany. This person will provide situational awareness of ASI whenever shared systems, equipment, servers, applications, or services are required to be down to accomplish either a short notice (uncoordinated) or pre-planned (coordinated) maintenance activities. Active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance required.
Primary Responsibilities
Monitor, track, and report throughout USEUCOM AOR and USEUCOM HQs on items such as system reboots, facility power events, software updates, implementation of security patches, hardware/upgrades/replacements, cable repairs/upgrades, routine preventive maintenance or other similar activity that will result in a service interruption. Conduct senior level executive briefings. Prepare DISA USEUCOM DNC priority/high interest ASI presentations or DISA’s Morning Operational Brief. Track and report on high interest ASI items, fields on average 150 informational requests per month. Review ASI portal inputs, analyze the potential impacts of a local/Enterprise scheduled/unscheduled events; assess potential impacts to critical infrastructure and assets supporting assigned missions and report results of the analysis and assessment. Maintain situational awareness for DISA EUR Leadership through monitoring, directing, coordinating, and de-conflicting DISA coordinated maintenance actions Coordinate Periods of Non-Disruption (POND) impacting the USEUCOM area of operations based on risk assessments and desired end-states, coordinate conflict resolution, escalate issues that cannot be resolved or de-conflicted to the DISA EUR Battle Captain.
Basic Qualifications
Active DoD TS / SCI Clearance Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 2 years of overall related experience 4+ years of additional related years of experience and DOD IAT/IAM Level III certification is accepted in lieu of a degree. Network Operations/Incident Management experience Good oral and written communication skills Ability to write reports free of spelling and grammatical errors Ability to work days, swings or weekend coverage if operational mission requirements exist Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, & Sharepoint) Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the ASI process across all DISA services including transport, application, and service Familiarity with system applications used to perform this function: ITSM, Team, Sharepoint Global Video System (GVS), World-Wide Online System (WWOLS), Service Now.
