RISE TO THE CHALLENGE
Philip Morris Management Services (Middle East) Ltd (PMMS) is looking for a Sr Specialist Regulatory & Corporate Affairs to join the Corporate Affairs team, reporting to the Sr Manager Regulatory Policy.
The role supports government affairs, stakeholder engagement, advocacy, and regulatory policy across the Middle East Cluster, helping create a favorable operating environment and supporting PMI's smoke-free transformation.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
Corporate Affairs
• Support government affairs and stakeholder engagement strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Build relationships with government officials, regulators, policymakers, trade associations, and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate engagement initiatives and represent PMI at relevant external forums.
• Monitor regulatory, legislative, and public policy developments and assess business impact.
• Collaborate with internal, regional, and global teams to develop advocacy positions and stakeholder engagement plans.
Regulatory Policy
• Monitor regulatory developments impacting market access, product commercialization, commercial enablers, and ESG requirements.
• Assess emerging trends and translate insights into business recommendations and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Support the development of policy positions, briefing materials, reports, and advocacy narratives.
• Gather regulatory intelligence, benchmark international frameworks, and identify opportunities to improve market access.
• Support engagement with regulatory authorities, government institutions, industry associations, and external experts.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, Economics, Law, Business, Science, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in Government Affairs, Public Policy, Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Affairs, or External Affairs, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and policy environments across the GCC.
• Ability to translate regulatory developments into actionable business insights.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent Arabic and English (spoken and written) are required.
