Role and Responsibilities The Senior Director of Product Marketing – TV is responsible for strategy, implementation and team oversight related to internal and external product planning, product management, and go to market strategy for the TV business. This position sets the vision and agenda for the product marketing efforts, and drives returns on all marketing investments (ROI). This role drives well-integrated forecasting to ensure that promotions, selling, and inventory are effectively aligned. The Head of Product Marketing manages the sales strategy, business planning, program development and all aspects of the go-to-market (GTM). Role and Responsibilities: Oversees FPTV Market Share, TP/MP targets and identify Revenue gaps and ensure we execute upon gap closures plans for overall TV business (Core, Lifestyle) Manage the overall Product Line-up for TV with partnership of SEC – including pricing, promotional, P&L Management, GTM/Channel strategy Ensure teams are measuring against our KPIs in Forecast accuracy, Inventory Management including Aged inventory & AP1/AP2 analysis on a weekly basis Leads and manages the PM Teams to generate and execute go-to-market strategy in conjunction with cross-functional partners in Demand Generation and Sales Develop presentations to support executive meetings and customer meetings across all levels of the organization. Support operational and business performance reviews. Development of clear action plans (e.g. GTM playbooks, tactical recommendations) backed by data analysis to drive market share, sales, and profitability for the account team. Develop short term and long term strategy to achieve key KPI's for TV business; management, creation and distribution of pricing and promotions Assess promotional prices each model should hit each week, based on profitability, inventory levels, competitive positions, M/S trends and forecasts, and line-logic. Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree in business or marketing preferred 20+ years of professional experience required; experience in big brand product marketing or marketing/communications, commercial technologies or consumer electronics preferred Experience with inventory forecasting and sales management leveraging: trends, industry dynamics, competitive analysis, MP targets/goals, etc. Experience in account management or negotiation to ensure maximum sales within specific accounts while minimizing channel conflict across all retailers.
