This includes technologies that monitor, support diagnosis and treat irregular heart rhythms, heart failure, and sudden cardiac arrest. AIS provides devices and therapies for a patient’s entire continuum of care, from diagnostic to treatment. This division strives to innovate and create a paradigm shift that can solve unmet clinical needs and change what is possible for patients.      Your responsibilities will include:

Design and implement software features for medical device prototypes using Java as the primary development language, with additional contributions in Kotlin, C++, and JavaScript as needed. Support mobile and embedded development on Android OS and Linux, helping to optimize performance, reliability, and user experience in clinical environments. Collaborate with engineering and clinical teams to translate procedural insights into software requirements, including viewing live and recorded procedures to inform design decisions. Assist in developing and validating test methods that replicate real-world device usage, integrating clinical feedback into iterative software improvements. Contribute to data analysis efforts by working with clinical datasets to identify patterns and inform device behavior, interface logic, and procedural support tools.

Required qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering. Graduation date by December 2026 Previous Boston Scientific internship experience with AIS R&D department
