Electrical & Controls Engineer

As the Electrical & Controls Engineer you will expand the sale and rental of temporary and portable control systems for dewatering equipment. You will accomplish this by assisting sales, application engineering, service and operations with equipment selection, pumping control system design and troubleshooting technical issues.

What You'll Bring: • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline • 2+ years of experience in industrial automation and control • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering specifications, and P&IDs • PLC/HMI programming experience • Experience with electrical control panel design, system integration, and commissioning • Basic understanding of fluid hydraulics • General knowledge of diesel engines, pumps, and control systems • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment • Strong troubleshooting, communication (written and verbal), and teamwork skills • Ability to travel frequently with little notice and for extended periods of time Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with water or wastewater treatment systems • Experience with Red Lion or other PLC Platforms • AutoCAD and SCADA integration experience   WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The estimated salary range for this position is $91k to $111k base plus bonus.
