Job Summary
An opportunity exists for a Senior MMIC Design Engineer to join the Microelectronics Department at Raytheon. Our team designs custom integrated circuits from DC-100GHz that enable world class system performance across all platforms. The successful candidate will have experience in MMIC design of functions such as HPAs, LNAs, PSAs, TDUs, or High power switches in GaN, GaAs, or CMOS. The candidate will be responsible for the complete development cycle of the MMIC, including selection of the technology node, RF and DC topology, layout, test, evaluation, and interfacing with the internal customer. The work is focused on Gallium Nitride and Gallium Arsenide integrated circuit development, however, experience in CMOS is a plus.
What You Will Do
Assume responsibility for all aspects of the MMIC development process including RF and DC topology choices to optimize performance, analysis and documentation of performance, layout, submission to the foundry, and verification to specifications. Collaborate with other MMIC engineers to share lessons-learned, grow the team’s knowledge base, improve the MMIC development process and increase first-pass successes. Participate in rigorous and systematic design reviews and documentation of design decisions to ensure work outputs are of high quality and will function as simulated.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) A minimum of 5 years related experience in MMIC Design and/or Test Experience with Keysight ADS and in EM tools such as HFSS, Momentum Experience designing GaN, GaAs, and/or CMOS MMICs Experience in performing microwave and mm-wave tests in the laboratory The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance post-start is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications
