Discover Impactful Work As a Packaging/Labeling Supervisor at our Greenville, NC site, you will provide hands-on leadership for approximately 35–40 colleagues supporting three manual visual inspection (MVI) rooms within our sterile pharmaceutical operations. Your team supports multiple customers and inspects sterile injectable products, including liquid vials, lyophilized vials, and liquid syringes. This is a highly visible, floor-based leadership role for someone who enjoys driving daily production, developing people, strengthening compliance, and improving how work gets done. You will ensure each area is ready to run safely and compliantly, reinforce strong documentation practices, and build greater ownership and accountability within the team. You will also gain broad cross-functional exposure through regular partnership with Quality, Validation, Customer Service and other operational teams, creating opportunities to expand your leadership capabilities and grow within the organization. A Day in the Life Lead day-to-day operations across assigned manual visual inspection areas, maintaining a strong and consistent presence on the production floor. Direct and develop approximately 35–40 employees, setting clear expectations for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, performance and accountability. Assess daily production readiness, including staffing, batch status, documentation, systems, materials and other requirements needed to execute the production schedule. Drive daily production priorities and coordinate resources across inspection rooms to meet customer commitments while maintaining quality and compliance. Ensure manual visual inspection activities are performed in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), approved procedures and applicable regulatory requirements. Strengthen Good Documentation Practices (GDP) by reviewing production and batch documentation for completeness and accuracy and addressing recurring documentation errors. Conduct routine self-audits of assigned areas to identify compliance, documentation and technique gaps before they become audit observations or downstream issues. Promote right-first-time execution by coaching employees on inspection technique, documentation accuracy and adherence to established procedures. Identify production, quality and compliance issues, escalate when appropriate, and partner with cross-functional teams to determine and implement effective solutions. Coach, develop and motivate employees while providing clear, timely and constructive performance feedback. Reinforce consistent application of procedures, policies and performance expectations while creating an environment of ownership and continuous improvement. Support new projects, process changes and onboarding of new work, helping the team adapt successfully as business and customer needs evolve. Identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, quality and operational performance and help implement sustainable improvements.
