You will build cloud-native decisioning and automated remediation systems, simplify our platform, and be a part of our journey to become an AI-first technology organization. In this role, you will: Develop software modules for automated risk decisioning and remediation at scale. Benchmark various vendor, open source and in-house solutions for performance, cost and risk posture. Partner closely with Data and ML Scientists on features, experimentation, and monitoring of models. Partner closely with other engineering teams on the delivery of business outcomes through code. Integrate AI solutions into our technology platform, building from scratch where applicable. Engage in efforts to improve technical operations and processes of the team through automation.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience. At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience, with strong coding skills in JVM-based languages (Java or Scala) and experience applying object-oriented design principles. Familiarity with distributed cloud-native engineering (AWS, GCP, or Azure), microservices, API development, SQL/NoSQL databases. Some knowledge of streaming and data processing frameworks such as Kafka, Flink and Spark. Experience in monitoring and debugging production-grade software. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders with or without a technical background.
