Anaplan Sr Specialist

Grade Level (for internal use): 09 Role – Anaplan Sr Specialist Location – Penang This is for an Anaplan Specialist part of Anaplan Innovation Hub team, which is a central value column of the S&P Global Finance. This person will interact directly with community users, providing front line support, meeting end users ‘Where they are’. Working with community members across all divisions and functional teams to support increased adoption and engagement in Anaplan. Capturing opportunities to enhance functionality and user experience. Building out requirements and user stories to develop, test and deploy. Deep architectural and operational Anaplan knowledge will be critical to success. A Master Anaplanner with at least 2 years operational experience is preferred. Responsibilities include: Ensuring Enterprise design standards consistently meet ‘best in breed’ standards and that this consistency is mirrored across all Divisional and Functional teams Working tirelessly to optimize and improve the experience of our community members and users. Monitoring and managing Anaplan platform performance, including workspace administration. Working closely with our Partner network – having full visibility over their respective delivery pathways and adherence to carefully deigned SOW’s. Working in Partnership with Centralized data management teams, supporting efficient and effective Data architecture. Driving native Data integration with and to front line source systems. Support test and deploy for all new enhancements and build, assuming ownership for the Master Testing Plan (FUT, SIT & UAT) and management of lower dev environment. Deliver and continuously assess the appropriate Visualization layer (Dynamic Dashboards, Tableau and Power BI), supporting Community members and end users as they bring their respective data and insight stories to life. Support Community member and end user growth via targeted Learning and Development, including the demonstration of functionality to end-users via demos Responsible for designing, deploying and managing scalable and secure Azure cloud infrastructure, leveraging strong hands-on experience with core Azure services, networking and governance. Developes, manages and optimizes Microsoft Fabric data pipelines, applying solid experience in data engineering, data governance, and end-to-end data integration. Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance across analytics workloads by implementing best practices in data modelling, security, and pipeline automation. Provide input to program communications for go-live of new capabilities, Operational Performance and Community news. Working in Partnership with the Internal Stakeholders and our Partner network to develop and prioritize initiatives on a multi-year development roadmap.

Requires a University Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Software Development, or a related field. Have strong technical skills and an interest in finance. Quick learner with a genuine enthusiasm for growth and a keen interest in Anaplan. 2+ years relevant operational experience in FP&A or other relevant business analyst experience. Basic knowledge and familiarity with Anaplan are a plus. Experience in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. Proficiency in SQL, Python, DAX languages. Experience in building, managing, and optimizing data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric. Solid knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data governance and analytics workflows. Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Lakehouse architecture and end-to-end data integration. Experience with financial modelling and data analysis is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
