Liberty Mutual Investments is seeking a Portfolio Product Owner to own the strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes of LMI's Enterprise Data Management (EDM) product. EDM masters the security, price, issuer, FX, reference, and cash-flow data that LMI's investment, accounting, operations, risk, and regulatory processes depend on.

This is one of the portfolio product owner roles within Financial Products, part of Global Investment Systems (GIS), and reports to the Managing Director, Head of Financial Products. The successful candidate is the single accountable owner for the EDM portfolio: its strategy, roadmap, squad delivery, and stakeholder governance — working alongside the portfolio owners for Accounting, Operations, CECL, Automation & Productivity, and Finance Transformation.

The role sits between Financial Products, Operational Strategy and Delivery (OS&D), Investment Accounting, the LMI Data Office, Technology, and platform vendors. OS&D is a primary day-to-day partner: EDM's mastering, pricing, and exception workflows are executed and consumed there, so the Product Owner is expected to work in close and continuous partnership with OS&D on operational priorities, data-quality expectations, incident response, and the reduction of manual processing. The Product Owner sets priorities in collaboration with OS&D and Technology, leads cross-functional delivery, and is accountable for EDM providing trusted, timely, accessible data. Current roadmap themes include security master performance, derivatives, Private Credit, pricing automation, NAIC and rating data, platform upgrades, regression testing, and reduction of manual processing.

This is an AI-first role. The successful candidate uses approved generative AI as a normal part of their own work and leads its responsible adoption across EDM product management, data operations, exception handling, support, and stakeholder self-service.
