About the Role

As an Actuarial Intern, you will work on projects directly with our actuaries and will have the opportunity to complete and present a self-directed, business-driven individual project to our senior leaders. Responsibilities vary depending on assigned projects(s) and may include:   Product Development   Actuarial Valuation   Finance   Risk Management   Examples of past intern projects include:   Enhancing existing process leveraging tools such as Python, SQL, and PowerBI    Building validation tools to ensure accuracy of actuarial models   Analyzing results and trends given regulatory or product changes   Required Qualifications:   Current Junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.   Graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028 Required to have passed at least one actuarial exam   Preferred Qualifications High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics   Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectively   Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills   Ability to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with others   Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite   Visa Sponsorship Applicants must have a valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States (e.g., H-1B, F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, TN). In-Office Collaboration  We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week.
