Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Project Director to lead our project management and construction management initiatives in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex projects from conception through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations. You will drive strategic decision-making, manage cross-functional teams, and maintain the highest standards of project delivery and operational excellence. Direct and oversee all phases of project management and construction management operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards Develop comprehensive project strategies, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress against established metrics and adjust plans as needed Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, including project managers, engineers, and construction professionals; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks; implement proactive solutions to address potential challenges and ensure project continuity Manage stakeholder relationships and communications, providing regular updates to executive leadership, clients, and regulatory bodies Oversee contract management, procurement processes, and vendor relationships to optimize costs and ensure compliance with project requirements Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory compliance throughout all project phases Analyze project performance data and financial metrics; prepare detailed reports and recommendations for senior management Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align project objectives with organizational goals and strategic initiatives Champion innovation and best practices in project management methodologies and construction management processes Qualifications Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in project management and construction management Minimum 10 years of experience in a director-level or senior leadership position Proven expertise in managing large-scale, complex projects with budgets exceeding $10 million Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, or equivalent) Strong proficiency with project management software (Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera, or similar platforms) Demonstrated expertise in budget management, financial analysis, and cost control Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies in construction environments Knowledge of
