As a Senior FP&A Data Analyst , you will play a key role in helping our Corporate FP&A team transform complex financial and operational data into actionable business insights. Working at the intersection of finance, data analytics, and business strategy, you will help identify the key drivers behind financial performance and forecasts across a global energy business. Key Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance Power BI models, dashboards, and reporting solutions used to analyze business performance and explain financial variances. Design and develop new Power BI reporting solutions for a variety of stakeholders, including finance, operations, commercial teams, and executive leadership. Become a subject matter expert in budgeting and forecasting systems, supporting data integrity and processes that enable accurate financial planning across a growing multi-billion-dollar business. Partner with FP&A colleagues to identify process improvement opportunities and implement data-driven solutions that increase efficiency and insight generation. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen data quality, governance, and stewardship practices. Support recurring and ad hoc analysis, reporting requests, and business performance reviews. Leverage analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to improve financial reporting and decision-making processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing and maintaining Power BI data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions. Experience working with planning and forecasting platforms such as BPC, Anaplan, Oracle, SAP, or similar tools. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial statement
