About this role
The investor team manages the portfolios (both discretionary and non-discretionary) of Private Banking clients across a range of products (equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives, structured products, alternative investments and private equity). You will use your knowledge of multi assets investments to partner up closely with bankers and advise clients on all aspects of investments. You will be part of a local team and supported by an institutional platform that has the resources, specialists and intellectual capital to help you advise clients on achieving their desired goals. Job Responsibilities
Work independently to service clients’ investment needs Work closely with Senior Investors on meeting more complex clients’ investment needs Provide preparatory and post execution support to the Investor team, assist Senior Investors with investment advisory services and recommendations across multiple asset classes to Private Banking clients Work in close partnership with Senior Investors and Private Bankers to assist them with providing investment expertise to existing and prospective clients, as well as in identifying new business opportunities Develop a thorough understanding of the Private Banking platform and take ownership of the process flows to ensure the success of the team Prepare presentation materials, client proposals/reports, and briefings for Senior Management Perform portfolio evaluations and analyses Conduct industry and product research Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and compliance with internal policies May require regular travel into coverage regions
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
Bachelor degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a similar capacity Strong knowledge of the financial markets, investment products and instruments Strong analytical and communication skills Strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of clients (private individuals and families) Able to work under minimal supervision; adaptable to work in fast-paced environment Detail-oriented and results-focused Fluency in Chinese Mandarin is essential to support Chinese speaking clients; business communication in English is required Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses
