Position Summary
The Facility Manager manages contracted partners and works with the Operations Manager and operations team personnel in the essential duties of ensuring the quality of services delivered to the clients meets and exceeds our standards and contractual obligations. The Facility Manager has direct hands-on oversight of all building systems, including all services and activities involved in maintenance and operations, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, chillers, refrigeration, ice making, boilers, and associated equipment. Black Seal is preferred. This role pays an annual salary of $70,000 - $85,000 Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays). This position will remain open until December 4, 2026.
About the Venue
The CURE Insurance Arena is a multipurpose arena. It hosts events including shows, sporting events, and concerts. The arena seats 7,605 for hockey and other ice events, 8,600 for basketball and up to 10,500 for concerts, family shows, and other events, which makes it the largest arena in Central New Jersey.
Responsibilities
In accordance with established guidelines and procedures, provide for the timely and efficient training of Operations personnel in coordination with the Human Resources Department. Develop policies and procedures with Director of Operations to maximize efficient utilization and scheduling of labor coordinated with maintenance and event requirements. Manage, plan, and organize long-range assignments for Maintenance. Troubleshooting and hands-on repairs in the facility involving, but not limited to, electric, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and wall repair. Implement and maintain programs with Director of Operations for inspection of facilities and documentation of work orders, including a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance System for all Arena fixed and movable equipment and building systems. Administer outside maintenance and repair contracts. Coordinate all inspections with outside regulatory agencies (Fire, Elevator/Escalator, Boiler, Insurance, etc.). Assist in developing policies and procedures with the Director of Operations to monitor and conserve energy consumption and compliance with Utility Contracts. Maintain a hazardous materials communication program, material Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and required records and permits; maintain knowledge of changes in pertinent Federal, State, and Local regulations. Uphold all relevant federal, state, and local building regulations, including EEOC, FLSA, OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and ADA regulations. Review operation of inventory systems and ensure
