About the Opportunity Ellucian is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our SaaS Platform team and help define the next generation of workflow capabilities across the Ellucian portfolio. This role will focus on building platform-level business process automation capabilities that are flexible, secure, and reusable, so that other product teams can build on top of them with confidence. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in workflows and business process automation, with a strong product mindset for platform design. This person should be comfortable operating across internal and external stakeholders, balancing competing priorities, and turning complex needs into scalable solutions that serve both immediate customer needs and long-term platform strategy. This role will partner closely with engineering, UX, customer success, sales, marketing, and other product leaders to deliver out-of-the-box automation workflows, improve business process automation capabilities, and establish a foundation the broader portfolio can extend and reuse. The right candidate will bring curiousity, sound judgment, and a clear point of view on how to build durable platform capabilities that drive customer value. Where you will make an impact Own the product strategy and roadmap for business process automation capabilities across the platform Define and deliver foundational workflow capabilities that other Ellucian products can build on Lead discovery, validation, and prioritization for out-of-the-box business process automation workflows Partner with engineering and UX to shape intuitive, secure, scalable workflow experiences Drive decisions across competing priorities, customer needs, and platform investment tradeoffs Collaborate with internal stakeholders across product, engineering, security, support, customer success, sales, and go-to-market teams Translate customer and market feedback into clear product direction, themes, initiatives, epics, and stories Ensure workflow capabilities are designed with security, reliability, governance, and operational manageability in mind Support product adoption, customer success, and solution health through clear positioning, enablement, and product expertise Represent the product with confidence in customer conversations, executive forums, and cross-functional planning sessions What you will bring 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of platform, workflow, automation, or infrastructure-related products Demonstrated experience building platform capabilities that enable other teams, products, or customers to extend and scale solutions Strong background in workflow design, business process automation, orchestration, or related enterprise automation products Experience delivering secure, reusable, and extensible SaaS platform capabilities Proven ability to work effectively across internal and external stakeholders and balance competing priorities Strong executive presence and the ability to influence
