Overview

Supply Chain / Channel Operations - Delivers products and services to partners and consumers to maximize business value and in addition provide aftersales, returns and care supportability. Channel Operations collaborates with Microsoft channel partners to understand and deliver to service level expectations whilst optimizing inventory levels that enable business groups to meet or exceed revenue goals. In addition, the Channel team understand and bring customer and demand insights to Microsoft Supply Chain organization at a region / country / account level. The   Sr Supply Chain Channel Manager   is a pivotal role connecting Microsoft's supply chain with field teams and customers. This individual has the remit of working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business targets and high standards of customer satisfaction. The candidate will be a problem solver and be resourceful, creative, and willing to work with and through others to be successful. Collaboration is a critical skill in this role. Responsibilities

Demand & Supply Management Lead collaborative forecasting (CPFR) with partners and internal teams. Own demand planning and outlook alignment (rolling forecast, Current month +1 /+2). Ensure availability management and alignment with supply constraints. Manage demand-related risks and support sales decision-making with accurate supply insights. Channel Execution & Inventory Health Oversee channel inventory management (DC + partner stock, WOS, SKU mix). Drive in-stock availability and replenishment through collaborative order planning. Manage deal prioritization and shipment allocation guidance. Ensure right product, right place, right time execution across channels. Operational Performance & Order Management Own order book management and fulfilment execution (delivery, confirmations, changes). Monitor and improve operational KPIs: Shipment claims / returns. Order accuracy and reliability. Cost to serve. Lead exception management and escalation handling. Ensure high standards of service quality and delivery performance. Partner & Customer Engagement Lead customer and partner relationships, driving joint planning and alignment. Conduct business reviews and performance discussions with key partners. Enable data-driven decision making with customers. Align stakeholders to drive account performance and service improvements. Transformation & Continuous Improvement Identify and deliver process improvements and operational efficiencies. Lead or contribute to strategic initiatives (AI adoption, network optimization, automation, capability build). Drive innovation in channel execution and customer experience. Establish and share best practices across partners and teams.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years supply chain, inventory management or sales operations experience, preferably in planning (demand/supply), supplier relationship management, customer relationship management, and/or channel management experience. OR equivalent experience. Language fluency both in Japanese and English   Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years supply chain, inventory management or sales operations experience, preferably in planning
