Black Bear Lodge in Sautee, GA is currently recruiting a Full-time on-site Medical Director for their Adult Addiction Treatment Programs.

Overview: Employment Type: Hospital Employed, on-site Schedule / Hours: Monday-Friday on-site, full-time hours, shared call Patient Volume: Varies by census Location: Sautee, GA - Beautiful North Georgia Mountains Practice Setting: The physician will see a diverse adult patient population with addiction/substance abuse and mental health issues in a mix of Detox, PHP/IOP and RTC settngs Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BC Psychiatrists, BH Techs, BH RN, NPs, Social Workers and Therapists EMR / Technology: Tier (updating to new EMR in the fall) Growth & Development: Advancement opportunities within an ever-growing organization.

Duties & Highlights: Competitive compensation package with base salary plus comprehensive benefits Duties will include admission evaluations and assessments, treatment team management, discharge and administrative duties as related to patient care. Clinical Leadership Role with staff supervision and participation in executive administrative/clinical meetings as needed. * Must be BC in Addiction Medicine or BC in General Psychiatry comfortable treating addiction/detox populations * Active GA license and DEA are required or the ability to obtain. * Prior leadership experience is preferred.
