Manufacturing Quality Engineer

The selected candidate will be given assignments and projects that are meaningful, challenging and that provide an outstanding experience, while contributing to the success of Texas Instruments. Responsibilities include: Manage and monitor supplier quality performance including PPM, yield, reject rates and customer complaints. Establish and maintain supplier quality requirements and specifications. Conduct supplier audits and process assessments. Perform in-house buy off/inspection of incoming materials, components prior release to production. Support new supplier’s qualifications and evaluations. Lead investigation of incoming material and supplier-related quality issues. Work with suppliers to identify failure mechanisms and establish effective containment. Coordinate with warehouse, procurement and manufacturing for lot disposition. Drive continuous improvement projects with suppliers.
