Discover opportunities to make a difference at RTX. The Effector Guidance Electronics (EGE) department develops electronics for weapon system products. We engage at the outset of the weapon system development and follow our designs through deployment. Our products are deployed all over the world, from the ground to exoatmospheric environments and into space. We are looking for individuals to support the circuit card design process, turning designs into robust and reliable reality. Individuals will interface with multiple internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop high quality producible designs. Team members will be exposed to all phases of the circuit card lifecycle from development through production and will present their findings through program design reviews.

What You Will Do

As an Electrical Components Engineer at Raytheon, you will ensure the use of cost‑effective, high‑quality electrical parts that meet product and program requirements. You will select and specify components, verify their suitability, and collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to support component development. In this role, you will evaluate risks and verification data to justify component choices, identify and promote preferred parts, address obsolescence concerns, and provide solutions that meet customer component needs.

Qualifications

You Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) degree. Experience in one or more of the following areas: circuit design, circuit analysis, digital electronics, analog circuits, power design, RF design or printed circuit board design.

Qualifications

We Prefer: Technical working knowledge of electronic components (e.g. semiconductor, passive and/or electromechanical commodities) and their application. Board layout experience of single and multi-lamination boards. PCB manufacturing and Circuit card assembly.
