Equipment Operation & Process Execution Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment Execute process recipes according to engineering specifications Monitor process parameters during production runs Inline Inspection & Metrology Perform inline quality measurements Record measurement data accurately Flag out-of-specification results promptly to responsible engineers Material & Chemical Handling Handle and manage production materials Ensure proper chemical storage, labeling, and disposal in compliance with EHS regulations Manage material inventory and timely replenishment requests Documentation & Reporting Accurately complete shift logs, process records, and equipment checklists Report equipment abnormalities, process alarms, and quality issues to engineers promptly Engineering Support Assist process engineers in: DOE sample preparation and process trials New recipe qualification runs Failure analysis sample collection and preparation NPI process trials and prototype runs Execute engineer-directed process adjustments and parameter changes Qualifications College and above Preferred Major - Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical Technology, Materials, or related Prefer operation experience in semiconductor, HDD, LCD, or related manufacturing Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Additional Information Because Western Digital thrives on the power of diversity and is committed to an inclusive environment where every individual can thrive through a sense of belonging, respect, and contribution, we are committed to giving every qualified applicant and employee an equal opportunity.
