Sr Assoc, Accounts Payable

Responsibilities: Create, modify, extend, block, and unblock Customer, Vendor, and Business Partner master records based on approved requests. Process workflow-based requests through tools such as ServiceNow, MDG, and other authorized channels. Review supporting documents, validate request details, and ensure completeness and accuracy before processing. Perform duplicate checks using key data points such as name, address, tax registration, VAT/GST, and banking information. Execute compliance checks, including Denied Party Screening, SOX controls, and audit-related validations. Maintain master data in SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, BAAN, JDE, or similar ERP systems. Coordinate with Business, Finance, Credit, Procurement, AP, Sales, and other stakeholders for approvals and issue resolution. Monitor SLA, quality, productivity, and audit compliance metrics while supporting process improvement initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commerce, Finance, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related discipline. 2–5 years of experience in Master Data Management, Shared Services Operations, ERP Data Maintenance, or Business Process Operations.

Strong understanding of Master Data Management concepts, data quality controls, and governance principles. Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, BAAN, JDE, or similar platforms. Experience with workflow tools such as ServiceNow, MDG, or equivalent systems. Ability to validate documentation, identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and maintain accurate audit trails. Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, ServiceNow, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI. Experience in data validation, reconciliation, workflow management, compliance controls, and master data governance.
