What you'll do
Docusign's Mobile Engineering team is looking for a motivated Software Engineer (P2) to help build and refine our native iOS application. Docusign is redefining how the world handles agreements, moving beyond e-signatures to a platform that makes agreements smarter, faster, and more connected across the entire agreement lifecycle. Our team's charter is twofold: to support the complex, high-volume use cases of our enterprise customers while maintaining the world-class usability and polish that consumers expect from top App Store applications. As a P2 engineer, you will focus on building user-facing application features, fixing bugs, and improving app performance. You will write clean Swift code, write unit tests, and work alongside senior engineers to grow your technical skills in a collaborative Agile environment. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Senior Engineering Manager.
Responsibility
Design and build engaging, native user experiences for the Docusign iOS app using Swift Write clean, maintainable code and unit tests to ensure high performance and application stability Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and backend engineers to turn feature requirements into working mobile software Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks reported by users or automated tools Actively participate in team sprint planning, daily standups, and code reviews to give and receive constructive feedback Stay updated with new Apple features, tools, and iOS updates to help continuous team improvement Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience 2+ years of professional software engineering experience 1+ years writing native iOS applications in Swift Understanding of iOS application lifecycle, data persistence, network communication with RESTful APIs, and Git version control Experience working within an Agile/Scrum team environment Preferred Personal or professional app published in the Apple App Store Familiarity with SwiftUI alongside UIKit Understanding of modern architectural patterns like MVVM Exposure to automated testing using XCTest Passion for high-quality UI/UX and Apple Human Interface Guidelines Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
