Primary Objective: Support environmental compliance, regulatory risk reduction, and operational execution across Dal-Tile operations, including manufacturing, customer service, sales, and distribution within the Ceramic North America business unit. Monitor site-level environmental compliance and recommend actions to ensure alignment with federal, state, and municipal environmental regulations.   Major Function and Scope:       TRI Reporting •    Prepare and submit TRI reports across five states in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. •    Maintain chemical management system data by adding new chemicals and materials, updating inventories, and ensuring information remains accurate and current. Wastewater •    Prepare and coordinate wastewater reporting across four states. •    Support wastewater permit renewals and evaluate potential technology improvements in partnership with internal teams and external partners. Waste •    Track waste streams and material usage across nine plants to support compliance, reporting, and operational visibility. •    Monitor air permit compliance requirements, including control device inspections, product deliveries, chemical usage, and visible emission inspections. •    Prepare and submit internal and external waste reports as required. Stormwater •    Coordinate stormwater sampling activities across nine plants. •    Perform required calculations and submit final stormwater reports to applicable city and state regulatory agencies. Air •    Support completion of new construction, reconstruction, and equipment permitting processes. •    Prepare and submit air permit reports, Title V Annual Compliance Reports, Semi-Annual Deviation Reports, and Emission Inventories. Continuous Improvement •    Develop, deploy, and facilitate environmental training based on established policies and procedures. •    Support internal environmental audits across company manufacturing sites. •    Support external and third-party audits by compiling data, maintaining required database entries, and participating in onsite verification activities. General Responsibilities •    Respond to environmental issues at regional facilities and support emergency response activities as needed. •    Maintain working knowledge of environmental regulatory requirements and oversight expectations across five states. •    Gather and maintain fuel usage and waste disposal records to support sustainability reporting. •    Ability to perform complex environmental data calculations and analysis using Excel to support reporting, compliance, and operational decision-making.  •    Ability to translate complex environmental and regulatory issues into clear, concise communication, high-level verbiage for plant personnel, leadership, and consultants. •    Perform additional duties as assigned by management. •    Travel to plant sites as needed to support environmental operations, compliance activities, and site-level execution.   Type of Experience and Knowledge: •    Bachelor’s degree in a related field. •    2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. •    Foundational knowledge of common pollutants, manufacturing equipment, and state and federal environmental regulations
