Test Technician - 2nd Shift

Standard Job Description 
 Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of electronic assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences; lays out and assembles units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications. Adjusts and calibrates systems as required; modifies electronic equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches. Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed. Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. Determines types of tests to be performed, approves and suggests modifications to testing equipment, and analyzes test results to evaluate performance of products and equipment. Assists engineers in design and development of test procedures for new products and recommends product improvements or manufacturing modifications. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.   You will be the Second Shift Test Technician for the Testing team. Our team is responsible for setting up and executing electronic assembly tests to ensure product performance and quality.

As the Second Shift Test Technician, you will be responsible for configuring test apparatus, performing electrical and RF measurements, and analyzing results to validate product specifications. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:   Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of electronic assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences. Adjusts and calibrates systems as required; modifies electronic equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams. Identifies malfunctions by making adjustments or troubleshooting circuit cards. Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. Performs tests and suggests modifications to testing equipment, and analyzes test results to evaluate performance of products and equipment. Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment. Work from Process/Work Instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality standards. Use various measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements. Document accurate data records and results test databases, generate reports, and assist in improving test procedures. Basic troubleshooting / retesting of electronic assemblies. Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve throughput and continuous improvement. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.   Basic Qualifications 
 Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong work ethic and a reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn in their role.  High school diploma or GED required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. An Interim Secret clearance is
