Job Description: At TI, System Engineers serve as the technical bridge between TI’s global customers, field teams and internal product development teams. This role combines customer engagement, system-level technical expertise and cross-functional leadership to identify market opportunities, shape competitive roadmaps, define differentiated products and lead product execution from concept through release.

Cross-functional leadership and decision-making by working closely with design, applications, marketing, test, validation, packaging teams.
RGB LED Driver System Engineer's responsibilities may include
Customer Engagement: Proactively initiate and maintain technical engagements with global customers and TI field teams. Build trusted relationships, stay close to evolving customer needs and pain points, and gather first-hand market and system insights through direct customer interaction. Roadmap Influence: Shape competitive product roadmaps and partner with marketing and applications teams to prioritize opportunities that strengthen TI’s market leadership. Product Definition: Translate customer and market insights into differentiated product concepts and IC definitions, while balancing customer value, technical feasibility, manufacturability, cost and schedule. Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead technical alignment throughout product development when working with design and backend teams. Constructively challenge assumptions, identify technical gaps and drive cross-functional teams toward timely decisions and issue closure. Portfolio Promotion: Promote existing product portfolio by clearly presenting product differentiation, enabling sales and field applications teams, and supporting strategic customer opportunities to accelerate design-ins and design wins. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical literature, including product specifications, datasheets etc.
