We are proud to be a Disability Friendly Workplace, ensuring an inclusive environment for all our employees. Eaton is a power management company focusing on delivery energy efficient products and services to help our customers manage power more reliably, efficiently, safely and sustainably.  As a part of out purchasing organisation this role will ensure our manufacturing plants and distribution centres have the right materials at the right time.   This role will be responsible for the purchasing of raw materials and finished goods from around the globe ensuring we are  able to delight our customers.      Your main responsibilities: The Buyer will drive supplier performance and KPIs to meet Eaton’s standards by proactively managing relationships and ensuring suppliers fully understand and adhere to Eaton’s requirements. Act as the primary escalation point for supplier performance issues and lead the resolution of challenges affecting material supply. Maintain accurate material master data in SAP for all assigned materials. Work cross-functionally to support operational excellence, working with production planners, network schedulers, logistics, customs etc. Support continuous improvement as new systems and processes are implemented across the organisation. Be an effective communicator, with a can-do approach working with precision and urgency. Utilise SAP and Kinaxis and adapt to process changes as we develop our processes.   Qualifications: 
   A-Level or comparable. Bachelor's degree in a relevant area preferred (SCM, Engineering, technical qualifications). Exposure to manufacturing or industrial supply chains (make-to-order / make-to-stock environments). 3-5 years of direct material purchasing in an industrial or manufacturing environment. 
 Skills SAP MM advanced level. Kinaxis (ideal). MS Office advanced level. Fluency in English and German (both written and spoken). Accountable, takes initiative. Collaborative, works well in cross-functional teams. Results focused. Efficient. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to
