As a Senior Software Engineer in the Windows 365 team, you will have the unique opportunity to gain experience at both the business and technology levels. This role will allow you to broaden your knowledge of desktop virtualization and delve into technical areas including Windows, Office, and our cloud-based management suite, while also driving product improvements into Azure Virtual Desktop.  In this role, you will:  Be part of a team of talented and motivated engineers, working collaboratively to plan, design, implement, and deliver high-quality features.  Contribute to intelligent experiences area that improve customers' productivity and efficiency by applying mainstream AI capabilities to meaningful product scenarios.  Author architecture/component designs, implement code, and debug issues, ensuring the delivery of robust and reliable solutions.  Uphold high standards throughout the entire engineering cycle, from requirement analysis to production live service response, by incorporating innovative mechanisms and practices.  Tackle the most challenging technical problems within your team’s scope, demonstrating your problem-solving skills and technical expertise.  Provide support, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior engineers within your team, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

Required/Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python or equivalent experience. Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

8+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of building and shipping
