Ngā kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role Our Managed Services team supports clients with high-quality, technology-enabled finance services that help them strengthen controls, improve reporting, and make informed decisions. As Business Service Lead - Managed Services, you’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of client work, build trusted relationships, and help shape a consistent, commercially sustainable managed services offering. Your day-to-day could include: Leading the delivery of finance managed services engagements, ensuring work is delivered to agreed quality, scope, risk and commercial expectations. Managing recurring finance activities such as month-end support, reconciliations, management reporting, variance analysis, cash flow visibility, and board or trustee reporting packs. Partnering with PwC Partners, client relationship teams and specialists to support senior client conversations and maintain client confidence. Coaching and developing delivery team members, including workflow allocation, quality review, feedback and capability building. Supporting continuous improvement through standardised processes, controls, approved tools, automation and AI-enabled ways of working. Ngā pūkenga ka kawea mai e koe , ka whakawhanakehia rānei i tēnei tūranga / Skills you will bring or develop in this role A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline. Significant senior experience in finance, accounting, commercial advisory, finance operations or managed services. Strong understanding of finance function delivery, including month-end, reconciliations, management reporting, cash flow, variance analysis, board reporting, controls and process improvement. Experience leading client-facing finance delivery across multiple engagements, with the ability to build trusted relationships and manage expectations. Commercial confidence across scope, resourcing, WIP, recoverability, billing, margin performance and improvement actions. Experience leading and coaching finance, accounting, operations or delivery teams. Openness to technology, automation, analytics and AI-enabled ways of working.
