Job Description

Job Family Definition Develop and grow the HPE Modular Data Center (POD) and AI infrastructure business by leading business development activities with external customers, strategic partners, and internal sales teams. Responsible for identifying, shaping, and converting opportunities for modular data center solutions designed to support high-performance computing (HPC), AI infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise workloads. Maintains strong knowledge of leading-edge data center technologies including liquid cooling, GPU-accelerated infrastructure, modular construction methodologies, and AI factory architectures. Contributes to the company’s solutions portfolio by translating customer requirements into scalable POD solutions and by providing market insight to influence product strategy and portfolio evolution. Responsible for generating new business opportunities, supporting the full sales lifecycle, and enabling successful deal execution across UKIMEA. Works closely with account teams, solution architects, supply chain, and the delivery organization to ensure successful positioning and execution of HPE modular infrastructure solutions. Contributes directly to revenue growth, pipeline development, and customer satisfaction while supporting the expansion of the HPE POD ecosystem in UKIMEA Management Level Definition Contributions impact the strategic growth and adoption of HPE modular data center solutions and related AI infrastructure offerings. Applies advanced domain expertise in modular data center infrastructure, HPC environments, and large-scale AI deployments to solve complex customer challenges and shape infrastructure strategy. Acts as a recognized subject matter expert in POD-based infrastructure solutions and participates in cross-functional initiatives spanning sales, product management, supply chain, and the delivery organization. Exercises significant independent judgment to identify opportunities, structure deals, and guide customers toward scalable infrastructure solutions. May provide leadership and mentorship to local teams and partner organizations.

Responsibilities

Drive business development activities for HPE POD and modular data center solutions across targeted industries including AI, education, research, and enterprise environments. Identify, qualify, and develop new opportunities for modular data center deployments including AI factory infrastructure, HPC clusters, GPU environments, and edge data center solutions. Lead engagement with customers to understand technical, operational, and business requirements for large-scale data center deployments and translate these into POD-based solutions. Work closely with HPE account teams, solution architects, and partners to develop end-to-end proposals including infrastructure architecture, modular facility design, and lifecycle services. Act as a trusted advisor to customer executives, infrastructure teams, and decision makers on modern data center architecture, capacity scaling strategies, and AI-ready infrastructure.
