AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in New York, New York October 15th and 16th. This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2027. The event kicks off on Thursday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm , where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines. On Friday, interviews will take place at our New York office. AECOM is actively seeking an Environmental Science Interns to be based in New York or New Jersey office. The Science Intern will support our EPP team in both the field and office. We are seeking a motivated candidate who would like to develop and advance in a full-time environmental career. We provide advisory and technical services to help clients clean up and close contaminated sites and surplus operational facilities and restore them for reuse, plan and permit new facilities, address critical climate change issues, restore habitats and water quality, protect natural and cultural resources, maintain compliance, and cost-effectively manage residuals and wastes. Internships at AECOM offer students in undergraduate and graduate programs the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in engineering design, and infrastructure projects that make a real-world impact. Job Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: Working with the AECOM ecological team to become familiar with our field survey equipment, data forms and other data collection and reporting tools. Assisting AECOM ecological teams in performing stream, wetland, wildlife
