About the Team
Technology & Business Enablement (T&BE) Cross Services Tech Product Communications (TPC) provides the critical technology communications foundation that supports Citi's internal technology ecosystem. The team plays a key role in driving awareness, engagement, and adoption of internal technology products and services. The TPC Team serves as the bridge between technology and its users. We help colleagues understand what technology solutions are available, how to use them effectively, and how those solutions enable them to work more efficiently. Through clear, engaging, and actionable communications, we support technology adoption and improve colleagues’ experience across the organization.
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate communicator and collaborator to join our Technology Product Communications team. In the Technology Product Communications Specialist (Business Associate - C12) role, you will support product marketing technology and change management initiatives by developing and executing communications strategies that inform, engage, and influence colleagues across Citi. You will work closely with product owners and cross-functional stakeholders to create integrated communications plans, deliver compelling content, and identify innovative ways to engage employees through both traditional and emerging communication channels. This role is ideal for a communications professional who enjoys partnering with technology teams, creating impactful content, and helping employees adopt tools and solutions that improve how work gets done across the organization.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute integrated communications plans for internal technology products and initiatives. Coordinate communications activities across multiple teams and stakeholder groups to ensure consistent, timely, and effective messaging. Track communications activity and provide weekly and monthly reporting, measuring outcomes against agreed objectives and success metrics. Review communications requests for audience relevance, tone, clarity, and timing before preparing content for distribution. Create and distribute communications to targeted audiences using appropriate channels and formats. Develop high-quality content including articles, intranet updates, announcements, and other communication materials. Maintain and update intranet pages, SharePoint sites, and other digital communication platforms. Support strategic, cross-channel communication plans aligned to technology initiatives and business objectives. Contribute to team initiatives including e-newsletters, podcasts, video features, and other employee engagement programs. Identify and champion innovative communication methods, tools, and channels to improve engagement and drive adoption of technology products. Benchmark industry best practices and explore new approaches to communication, employee engagement, and technology storytelling. Ensure communications activities are delivered with strong attention to detail, organization, and execution excellence. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, technology communications, change management, or a related field. Experience developing and executing marketing and communications plans. Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across teams and functions to bring initiatives from concept through execution. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, concurrent projects, and changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work products. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Creative thinker with the ability to develop new ideas, approaches, and engagement strategies. Ability to influence stakeholders and build alignment across peer and management groups.
