Manufacturing Engineer

Become a part of the “strength within.” Hexcel is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Casablanca, Morocco location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: Provide day-to-day engineering support to production operations to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality, and on-time manufacturing performance. Act as an EHS role model by promoting a proactive safety culture, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements. Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, tooling, and production methods to improve productivity and product quality. Lead troubleshooting activities by performing root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and driving sustainable problem resolution. Manage the introduction of new products, programs, and work packages, coordinating with global engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders. Review engineering drawings, specifications, and design changes to ensure manufacturability, compliance, and successful implementation in production. Maintain accurate ERP data, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, process plans, and manufacturing documentation. Support cost reduction initiatives through process optimization, standard cost evaluations, waste elimination, and the application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Lead and participate in cross-functional projects focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence, quality enhancement, and customer satisfaction. Provide technical support during customer visits, audits, and qualification activities while ensuring compliance with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Engineering degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, automotive, or engineering environment. Experience in process development, production support, continuous improvement, and project management. Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification is considered an asset. Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing planning tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and engineering software tools. Fluent in English and French. Candidates must be eligible to work in the country where the position is based.
